Jack Jeffries



I am an Associate Professor in the Mathematics Department at The University of Nebraska. Before that, I was an Investigador Titular A (tenure-track faculty) in the pure math group at CIMAT, and an NSF postdoc in the Department of Mathematics at the University of Michigan. I completed my Ph. D. under the direction of Professor Anurag K. Singh at the University of Utah; my area of math research is Commutative Algebra. My research is supported by NSF CAREER Award DMS-2044833, and I am co-PI on the RTG: Commutative Algebra at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln DMS-2342256. I am an Editor for the Journal of Pure and Applied Algebra. You can find me in Avery Hall 325.
